Company History

Ringmasters was founded in 1987 by Randy Edmunds and a partner for the purpose of selling “Mission Rings” to LDS missionaries. During their first ten years of business they grew the company to over 30 employees and $3 million in sales. This growth was accomplished by developing several new product lines and by opening new distribution channels within new markets. In addition, this growth earned them a spot on INC magazine’s 1996 INC500, which lists the 500 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. This accomplishment was repeated in 1997, along with a listing that year in the UTAH 100, ranked #29 among Utah’s fastest growing companies. Also during 1997 Ringmasters changed its corporate name to SymbolArts, which better characterized its more diverse product line. During the following year, after two years of effort, SymbolArts became one of only 30 companies worldwide to be awarded a license to produce officially-licensed merchandise for the Salt Lake 2002 Winter Olympic Games.

On August 1, 1999, after 12 years, Randy and his partner agreed it was in both of their best interests to divide the company in two. Randy returned to the corporate name of Ringmasters and has focused on the gift, souvenir and religious markets. His partner retained the company name of SymbolArts and has turned his focus to future Olympics opportunities, as well as the Public Safety and Promotional Specialties markets.

In 2002, Ringmasters was the co-winner of the LDSBA Outstanding Wholesaler Award, as well as the LDSBA Outstanding Sideline Product Award, which was repeated in 2004 by winning the LDSBA Outstanding Sideline Product Award again.
Today, Ringmasters continues to offer excellent products and maintains its reputation for being the leader in selling CTR rings as well as LDS jewelry and gifts.  Our product selection ranges from jewelry items such as rings, necklaces, bracelets, and pins, to gift items such as crystal cubes, neckties, afghans, plates, puzzles, ornaments and emergency preparedness items.
